Journey On!

Marissa: My soon-to-be Europe partner in crime. Whether she knows it or not she has educated me in musicals and have deepened my love and knowledge of music. She has also shown me how to dress in style! The girl is a freaking Vogue Magazine.  Marissa is such a hard worker and I don't think she gives herself enough credit! Yeah, you heard me sista friend! You are such an amazing role model and exactly what I needed for my winter semester.

Rebecca: My "third" little sister. Even though I have two younger sisters back at home, she has filled that little sister void that has been missing in my life since I've been at school. Like my little sisters back home who have their own special nicknames: Rebecca received the nickname of Beks. We get in these moods where I'll have an immature moment and Becca is the only one who embraces it, so we will have a moment where the two of us will just laugh and laugh because well, we just are dumb! Haha. My first impression of her was "oh my word, she sings ALL the time." I was definitely not used to that but eventually grew to love it! With that said, she has also taught me about music and I have grown a deeper appreciation for it. Becca has taught me that it is still okay to act crazy and loud and to not care about the crazy looks people may give you :)

Brooke: Brooke has taught me the "key" to the dating game. She has taught me it is okay to get out of my comfort zone and to simply talk to someone. Brooke has also taught me how to "rate" guys; this has become one of our new favorite hobbies. For example, she went on a few dates with this one guy and decided that he was a dry piece of toast, translation he was boring and not her type of guy. Where as  cinnamon/ sugar piece of toast, is the perfect guy. As we are talking about our toast all I can do is laugh... the stuff she comes up with I tell ya!

Whitney: My room-roommate. The Disney lover; I do not know anyone else who loves Disney as much as she does. She will do great things with Disney one day, I just know it! We also have special relationship; right off we knew we would get along because she has a sister named Megan, and I have a sister named Whitney. Crazy coincidence, right?! She is willing to help wherever and whenever she is needed. She thrives on doing service for others and I absolutely love that about her. Whitney is such inspiration to me to provide service for those around me.

Katie: My homegirl. My best friend. The older sister I never had. The "mother" of the apartment. I have learned so much over the last four months from this girl about life/ boys/ school than any other friend that has come into my life. If I am having a bad day Kathryn is the one I go to because she always (and I mean always) knows exactly what to say. Though she is graduating today and is moving back to the motherland of California, she won't be able to get rid of me that easily. Katie, you do not know how much of an impact you have made on my life.

I have been so blessed to have extraordinary roommates, not only this semester but also my two previous semesters up here. Though it hasn't been sunshine and rainbows here at 407, we have learned from these experiences and will grow from them.

Marissa, Brooke and Katie, I will miss y'all so much! Don't think that this will be the last time we see each other because I won't let it be :)

Whitney and Beks, I'll see y'all in a week and I'm ready to see what the Spring semester has in store for us.

"Journey on" my sistaaasssss!

Love y'all

xoxo
